“You are the men and women of tomorrow. The future is in your hearts and in your hands. God is entrusting to you the task, at once difficult and uplifting, of working with him in the building of the civilization of love.” – Saint John Paul II, World Youth Day, 2002
We are inspired by our beloved namesake, Saint John Paul II. We are the first high school in the country to have taken his name, invoking the title “Great” as given to the late Holy Father by proclamation of the people during his funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Square in 2005. By his example, and through his intercession, we embrace the call to lead lives of joyful holiness, to teach and celebrate young people, and to respect the life and dignity of each person.
