John Paul Joins the March for Life!

On January 2, Students, faculty, and staff witnessed to life at the annual March for Life in Washington, DC. The day began with Bishop Michael Burbidge and the celebration of Mass at St. Thomas More Cathedral. We continue to pray for the conversion of hearts to respect and choose life! #whywemarch

Have you ever wondered what students are learning in the four-year Bioethics Curriculum found only at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School? Sr. Terese Auer, O.P., Bioethics department chair, is hosting a series of talks based on the first course, “The Human Person ~ A Philosophical Perspective.”  Please see the scheduled dates and topics on the RSVP form. Sessions are held on Tuesdays from 7 - 8:30 pm.

Please join us for this year's Annual Gala at the historic Bel Air 1740, a colonial manor home surrounded by 25 acres of sprawling English gardens, rolling fields, and wooded areas in Woodbridge, Virginia. The estate's exquisite event barn will be our venue for the evening!

Boys Basketball Clinic: Learn from Coach Hunt and develop your skills at our Boys Basketball Clinic! February 5th, 9-11:30 AM, open to 5-8th graders.

Drama Workshop: Join JP’s Drama Director for a day of mini-master classes at our Drama Workshop! January 22nd, 1-3 PM, open to all 7th and 8th graders.

Congratulations Wolves on a Historic WIN!

The Saint John Paul the Great boys Cross Country team won the VISAA State Championships! The victory was the first in school history and made possible by the JP harriers placing five runners in the top 20. Senior Sean Alorro placed 5th, James Bertram 9th, Matthew Elliott 15th, Ben Moloko 16th, and Xander Fry 17th. On the girl's side, Junior Sarah Dake’s 13th place finish paced the JP lady harriers to 8th place overall. Dake was also named to the VISAA All-State team.

John Paul the Great Feast Day

The John Paul the Great community celebrated the feast day of our patron on October 22, 2021. Community (with God and each other) lived out in our four Dominican Pillars (Study, Prayer, Community, and Service) was the focus of the celebration! The day began with Mass, and then students participated in various activities, including the greatly enjoyed Ninja challenge game outside. The day concluded with a Eucharistic Procession!

Boys Baseball Clinic (Click Here to Register)

On October 16, John Paul is hosting a Boys Baseball Clinic (open to 6-8th graders.) Join us for the opportunity to develop your skills, meet new friends, and have fun! The cost is $25 per child.
