well we have three programs first is our options program which is for students with intellectual disabilities and the students in options work on a modified curriculum and receive a certificate Shania graduation they take their core classes in the Austin's classroom and those are modified to their academic level and they also participate in general education classes with modified work working with parents I'm Bill Whitman I'm the father of Lucy Whitman who is in the options program I tell you the joy of the welcoming than one experience pain being a cheerleader at John Paul when we understood that the program John Paul was more focus on really academic skills passing as well as inclusion Lucy has been excelling not only in our options program which includes math and religion but also in biology and freshman and her art class Drive they got to be paired up with peer mentor who are accidents there to help them out and really make sure that they're fully able to participate we also have the Lodi program which is designed for students with specific learning disabilities students in the program receive play sports in the library teacher on things like that as they work for completing their support Steve help with homework preparing for test organization that he sells is what that
