John Paul Hosts the Third Annual "How to High School" Workshop

On February 6th John Paul the Great hosted its third annual How to High School Workshop. This year the middle school preparedness event was held virtually.
Each year, JP Faculty members run the five-session event, sharing tips and tricks to succeed in specific areas of high school life. Sessions include information on test-taking, organization, getting involved with the school community and clubs, and making new friends! Current JP students helped the faculty with the sessions.
The event opened and closed with a more extensive Zoom session, where middle schoolers and JP students got to have some fun learning about each other and playing a virtual game!
The goal of How to High School is to provide an informal and fun environment where middle schoolers learn skills that will help their transition to high school. How to High School is a great precursor to JP’s 9th-grade curriculum Freshman Seminar.
