“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.”--     Saint Pope John Paul the Great

These words from Saint Pope John Paul encapsulate the potential of Catholic education. By echoing the truths of Faith, inspiring in young people a hunger for knowledge and Truth, and putting the Person of Christ at the absolute center of all they do, Catholic schools embark on the mission to form saints who will change the world by the witness of their lives. I am very happy to teach religion at Saint John Paul the Great and to collaborate wholeheartedly in this mission of Catholic education.
