Congratulations to the JP Indoor Track Team

On Wednesday, JP Indoor Track traveled to New York City to compete at the 88th Eastern States Championships at the historic Armory track and field center. The team ran against some top talent on the east coast and came away with some outstanding performances. In the boys' 2-mile, James Bertram finished 15th and set a new school record. In the girls ' 1-mile run, Sarah Dake's performance was a new school record for that event. In the boys' Triple Jump, Kyle Falls had a solid performance. The boys 4x400m relay team of Elijah Thompson, Alex Everson, Gus Howard, and Nick Bouril finished 10th with a new school record time of 3:33.43. The girls 4x400m relay team of Chichi Obasi, Camila Barrera-Castro, Missy Petras, and Anna Bohli finished 4th in a new school record time of 4:08.92. Congratulations to the JP Indoor Track Team on a great finish to the season. (The team made a stop on the way home to Liberty State Park to take in the views of NYC and the Statue of Liberty)
