On Thursday, May 27, Mr. Leo Alonso, President, and Mr. Larry Rzepka, Executive Director of Porto Charities, Inc., visited JP to award a grant check. We are proud to be partners with Porto Charities in their mission to "support children with special needs with the opportunity for an inclusive Catholic education, and adults with special needs, assistance with meaningful employment in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington." We were also blessed to receive a generous grant from KOVAR this year. Virginia Councils of the Knights of Columbus collect funds so that KOVAR can grant money to organizations that improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. Mr. Befumo, a KOVAR Board of Directors member, visited JP to present us with a plaque to commemorate this grant. We are so thankful to Porto Charities and KOVAR for their generosity to the Options Program!
