High School Placement Test

The HSPT is a national, standardized test used to help determine placement in high school coursework. All Diocese of Arlington high schools use this test as a part of the admissions process as well as for course placement.

All 8th-grade students in the Diocese of Arlington elementary schools will take the HSPT in their classrooms in late 2023.

The HSPT is required for all 9th-grade applicants, as well as 10th-grade applicants currently studying in a homeschool program.

Please mark Saint John Paul the Great as your first choice (#77) on your registration form in order to guarantee that we receive your scores.

Please review the important information below regarding this essential part of the application file!
